Technical ceramics – The isostatic and axial ceramic pressing

Isostatic and axial hydraulic presses are used to produce ceramic components with uniform density distribution, great part lengths and complexe shapes. Both isostatic and axial pressing are technologies in which high pressure is used to transform powdery materials into compacts bodies.

Fields of application for our powder presses:

• Dental industry: Production of implants, dental bridges and multilayer zirconium discs
• Medical technology: Production of knee and ankle joints made of zirconium oxide or aluminium oxide
